Peanut Butter Cookies

Nothing brings me more joy than to bake for my family and friends. It is a sign of my love. I made these peanut butter cookies for one of my best friend's in the world and they turned out really awesome. They are super full of peanut butter flavor and are soft. This recipe is pretty simple and they don't take long to make. These are perfect for when you need to make something fast.
 Peanut Butter Cookies: Makes 24
1/2 cup of unsalted butter
1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup of all purpose flour
3/4 tsp of baking soda
1/4 tsp of salt
First, preheat your oven to 375 and then mix together in your blender the butter, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, and the vanilla extract until combined.
Then, add the flour, baking soda, and salt and mix until well combined.
Then, roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet. Then, press the dough down with a fork dipped in sugar.

Then, bake for about 12 minutes.

Enjoy! :)

Cherry Cobbler Cake

I love cherry cobbler. I love cake. What could be more lovable than a cherry cobbler cake? This is perfect for fourth of July festivities that are approaching (because what is more American than cherry cobbler). This cake is similar to a cobbler, but is fluffier like cake. It is both sweet and tart, my favorite combination. Baked to golden brown perfection, this recipe is a must try.
Cherry Cobbler Cake:
1/2 cup of butter
1 cup of all purpose flour
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp of baking powder
1 cup of milk
2 1/4 cups of pitted sour cherries
3/4 cup of sugar
1 tbs of all purpose flour
Preheat the oven to 350. Then, pit the cherries.

Melt the butter in the microwave and pour it into a 9X13 pan.
Then, mix together the cup of  flour, the cup of sugar, and baking powder in a bowl.
Then, add the milk and mix well.
Then, pour the milk mixture over the butter and mix with a knife.

Then, in another bowl, mix the 3/4 cup of sugar and the tbs of flour with the pitted cherries.
Then, pour the cherries on top of the butter and milk mixture and mix with a knife.
Bake for about 50 minutes or until golden brown.

Enjoy! :)

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

My family and I are headed out on vacation and we have a long layover tomorrow, so I thought I might as well bake some muffins to eat during that time. These muffins were super easy to make and are made out of items you probably have lying around your kitchen anyways. They are moist and chocolately and of course delicious. These will definitely be one of my easy go tos for when I need a quick treat.
Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins: Makes 12
1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of salt
3 ripe bananas
1 egg
1/3 cup of vegetable oil
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/3 cup of chocolate chips
First, preheat your oven to 375 and spray vegetable spray onto muffin tins. Then, mix together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
Then, mash the bananas with a fork in a separate bowl.

Then, add the egg, oil, and the vanilla extract to the bananas and mix. Then add the flour mixture and combine until just mixed together,
Then, add the chocolate chips and mix.
Then, scoop the mixture into the muffin tins.
Then, bake them for about 18 minutes.

Enjoy! :)
