Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies

So this weekend was the Superbowl and my favorite team not only played in it, but won. GO PATS! I made these brownies for a Superbowl party and I made them red velvet because of the Patriots. (I have to root on my team even in my baking right?) These brownies are rich and creamy and the perfect dessert to bring to a party. This recipe is also straightforward and is not that time consuming, perfect for busy schedules.

Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownies:
2 eggs
1 stick of unsalted butter
1 cup of sugar
2 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8 tsp of salt
1 tbs of red food coloring
3/4 tsp of white vinegar
3/4 cup of all purpose flour
Cheesecake Swirl:
8 oz of cream cheese
1/4 cup of sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
First, preheat your oven to 350 and spray a 11X7 inch brownie pan. First, in your mixer beat the eggs.
Then melt a stick of butter in the microwave in a bowl, then add it to the eggs and beat.
Then, mix in the sugar and the and the vanilla extract.
Then, mix in the cocoa powder and the salt.
Then, mix in the food coloring and the white vinegar.
Then, mix in the flour until all is combined.

Then, pour the mixture into the brownie pan and start making the cheesecake swirl.
In your mixer, beat the cream cheese, sugar, yolk, and the vanilla extract until well combined.
Then, using a spoon place dollops of the cheesecake mixture on top of the brownie mixture.

Then, using a knife swirl the cheesecake swirl with the brownie mixture.

Then, bake in the oven for about 23 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Then, let them cool and enjoy!
